EXCHANGE PROCEDURE (PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW EACH AND EVERY STEP CAREFULLY)

 

Before the Exchange:

1. For all forms to be filled out and submitted, please refer below-mentioned web-site.

2. Academic Staff Mobility Programme (3 original copies)

a. Please fill out this form with your departmental coordinator at YTU. Departmental coordinators are listed here.

b. Your mobility period cannot be longer than the number of days mentioned in the final incoming academic staff list.

c. Mobility Programme is to be confirmed by your home university first. (Signature from Head of Department/Coordinator and from the Institutional Coordinator are requisite).

d. For the signatures from the host university (YTU), Mobility Programme is to be sent to Mevlana Exchange Programme Office at YTU.

e. After necessary signatures from YTU, Mobility Programme is sent to your home university by e-mail.

f. Please bring 3 original copies with you.

3. Letter of Acceptance:

a. After your Mobility Programme is confirmed, Letter of Acceptance will be issued by Mevlana Exchange Programme Office at YTU.

 

During the Exchange

1. Flight ticket Receipt, Flight Invoice/Receipt, boarding pass. If you are using taxi (receipt). (Ticket/e-ticket is not accepted)

2. Tax Number: You need to apply for Tax Number to Tax Office in İstanbul (Emniyet-Fatih) with your passport.

3. Ziraat Bank Account: You will go to Ziraat Bank with your Tax Number so that you can open an account. Grant will be transferred to your Ziraat Bank account.

4. Academic Staff Grant Agreement is signed at Mevlana Exchange Programme Office for your grant to be transferred. 

5. Alternatively, we can transfer the grant directly to your home country bank account via Money Transfer Form (Account holders are charged transaction fees).

 

At the End of Exchange

1. Academic Staff Certificate of Attendance: It will be issued by Mevlana Exchange Programme Office at YTU.

2. Academic Staff Mobility Final Report Form: It will be filled out by the participant academic staff and will be delivered to Mevlana Exchange Programme Office.
